Another exciting game was a derby match between two teams from Kampala:JTL Jaguars (#2) and Lady Tomahawks (#6). Lady Tomahawks were crushed at home by 29 points 63-92 and even the advantage of their own court did not help. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Lady Tomahawks. JTL Jaguars forced 22 Lady Tomahawks turnovers. It was a good game for international swingman Shakirah Nanvubya (-2000) who led her team to a victory with 21 points and 5 steals. Guard Brenda Kayaga (-1996) contributed with 19 points for the winners. Four JTL Jaguars players scored in double figures. Christine Namyalo (-2006) answered with 22 points and 4 assists and guard Stella Lunkuse (-1998) added 6 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Lady Tomahawks. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
