The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of top-rankedJTL Jaguars (12-3) in Kampala on Friday night. Visitors were rolled over by fourth ranked JKL Dolphins (11-3) 82-52 . JKL Dolphins forced 24 JTL Jaguars turnovers and had a 35-21 advantage in offensive rebounds. JKL Dolphins looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The former international power forward Hope Akello (183-1997) had a double-double by scoring 18 points, 19 rebounds, 7 assists and 4 steals to lead the charge for the winners and Angella Lokwameri chipped in 13 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists during the contest. Four JKL Dolphins players scored in double figures. Forward Mercy Batamuliza responded with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 13 rebounds and international swingman Shakirah Nanvubya (-2000) scored 11 points and 7 steals. JTL Jaguars' coach gave up on the game allowing to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Defending champion moved-up to third place. JTL Jaguars at the other side still keep top position with three games lost.
