There was no surprise in Kampala where 11th rankedKIU Titans (2-13) were crushed by seventh ranked Sommet (7-7) 92-73 on Wednesday. Sommet dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to KIU Titans ' 32 and made 23-of-27 free shots (85.2 percent) during the game. Sommet forced 26 KIU Titans turnovers and outrebounded them 50-25 including a 17-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. Sommet looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. DR Congolese Franck Nyembo (-2006) had a double-double by scoring 24 points and 10 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Mark Ngobi chipped in 24 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. The best for the losing side was P Akuk with 17 points and 8 rebounds and Daniel Odonkyero scored 13 points and 4 assists. Five KIU Titans players scored in double figures. Sommet moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Victoria C. Loser KIU Titans keep the eleventh position with 13 games lost.
