LeaderJTL Jaguars delivered the ninth victory on Wednesday night. This time they crushed 10th ranked Angels (1-9) 68-41 in Kampala. JTL Jaguars held Angels to an opponent 17.6 percent shooting from the field compared to 39.7 percent accuracy of the winners. JTL Jaguars forced 19 Angels turnovers. Worth to mention a quality performance of guard Rhoda Nagitta who helped to win the game recording 11 points and the former international forward Sarah Ageno (176-1996) who added 6 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was guard Caroline Nakato (-1999) with 14 points and guard Martha Likicho (-2001) scored 10 points and 5 rebounds (went 8 for 8 at the free throw line). The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. JTL Jaguars (9-2) have an impressive five-game winning streak. Despite that victory JTL Jaguars went down to second position due to points difference. Angels lost seventh consecutive game. Newly promoted team keep the tenth place with nine games lost.
