Regular Season Round 15: Kepler - REG 55-62

The most exciting game was a derby match between two local teams from Kigali:REG (#1) and Kepler (#2). Kepler was defeated at home 55-62 and even the advantage of their own court did not help. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Kepler. It was a good game for Mali Kadidia Maiga (185-1997) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 19 rebounds. Mali center Kankou Coulibaly (187-1990) contributed with 9 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. REG's coach used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American center Desi-Rae Young (185-2002, college: UNLV) answered with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 12 rebounds and DR Congolese center Aichata Traore (185-2005) added 11 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Kepler. REG (10-0) have an impressive series of ten victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place with a perfect record of 10 victories in a row. Kepler at the other side keeps the second position with three games lost.
