Rather predictable result in Kigali where sixth rankedKepler (4-4) smashed bottom-ranked Inspired Gen. (0-10) 88-45 on Wednesday. Kepler forced 30 Inspired Gen. turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists comparing to just 6 passes made by Inspired Gen. 's players. The best player for the winners was Canadian guard Chad Bowie (188-1996, college: SHSU) who scored 10 points, 9 rebounds and 8 assists (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line). Jamaican-Canadian guard Jabs Newby (188-1991, college: Gannon) chipped in 18 points and 4 assists. Four Kepler players scored in double figures. Cameroonian forward Jean Mouandjo (200-2003) produced 27 points and 21 rebounds and Christian Muganwa added 7 points and 7 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Kepler moved-up to fifth place, which they share with UGB. Newly promoted Inspired Gen. still closes the standings with ten games lost.
