Rather expected game in Kigali where bottom-rankedInspired Gen. (0-10) was defeated by seventh ranked Azomco (3-7) 69-64 on Sunday. Azomco forced 22 Inspired Gen. turnovers. Strangely Inspired Gen. outrebounded Azomco 64-52 including 24 on the offensive glass. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Azomco made 10 blocks. The best player for the winners was Jarode Aworet (-2001) who had a double-double by scoring 23 points, 17 rebounds and 7 blocks. Malik Matsouka chipped in 18 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists. Azomco's coach used entire bench in such tough game. Samuel Asiribo produced a double-double by scoring 15 points, 18 rebounds and 4 blocks and Joseph Lambe-Embola added 22 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists respectively for the guests. Despite that victory Azomco went down to eighth position due to points difference. Newly promoted Inspired Gen. still closes the standings with ten games lost.
