Another exciting game was again a derby match of two local teams from Kigali:Patriots (#2) and EAU (#8). Patriots (7-3) crushed visiting EAU (4-6) by 25 points 103-78 . Patriots dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to EAU 's 18. They outrebounded EAU 58-46 including a 45-29 advantage in defensive rebounds. Patriots looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The best player for the winners was American guard Damaria Franklin (190-1999, college: Memphis) who scored 66 points (!!!) and 6 rebounds. His fellow American import point guard Jeffery Stubbs (189-1991, college: Jackson St.) chipped in a triple-double by scoring 12 points, 11 rebounds and 12 assists. Chadian forward Ronald Nato (199-1992) produced a double-double by scoring 26 points and 13 rebounds and Ben Ndayishimiye Cyiza added 17 points and 4 assists respectively for the guests. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Patriots have a solid series of four victories in a row. They maintain second place with 7-3 record having just two point less than leader APR. EAU lost third consecutive game. Newly promoted team dropped to the seventh position with six games lost.
