Another interesting game was a derby match between two teams from Kigali:APR (#1) and REG (#3). APR (7-1) won against visiting REG (5-3) 79-66 . APR forced 19 REG turnovers. They brought some defensive toughness making 10 blocks. American Craig Randall II (193-1996, college: UT Martin) notched 27 points and 5 rebounds to lead the effort and international center Osborn Shema (213-1998, college: Iona, agency: Highlight Athletes) supported him with 13 points and 6 rebounds. Randall II is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Even a double-double of 12 points and 13 rebounds by DR Congolese forward Frank Betoudji (201-1998) did not help to save the game for REG . The former international Prince Muhizi (200-1996) added 19 points for lost side. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. APR have an impressive seven-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 7-1 record. REG at the other side keeps the third place with three games lost. They share the position with Patriots.
