Regular Season Round 6: APR - Kepler 83-62

Date: February 27, 2026
Rather predictable result in Kigali where first ranked APR (4-1) outscored 4th ranked Kepler (2-2) 83-62 on Friday. APR forced 21 Kepler turnovers and outrebounded them 47-33 including 34 on the defensive glass. APR looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. American forward Teafale Lenard Jr. (203-2002, college: Memphis) had a double-double by scoring 15 points and 11 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and the other American import Craig Randall II (193-1996, college: UT Martin, agency: 6th Man Basketball Agency) chipped in 15 points during the contest. Randall II is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. The best for the losing side was Canadian guard Chad Bowie (188-1996, college: SHSU) with 18 points and Jamaican-Canadian guard Jabs Newby (188-1991, college: Gannon) scored 13 points and 6 assists. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. APR have a solid four-game winning streak. Despite that victory APR went down to second position due to points difference. Loser Kepler keeps the fourth place with two games lost. They share the position with Patriots and EAU. APR's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Kigali .
