Regular Season Round 6: Inspired Gen. - Tigers 54-109
Date: February 22, 2026
There was no surprise in Kigali where bottom-rankedInspired Gen. (0-5) was crushed by third ranked Tigers (5-1) 109-54 on Sunday. Tigers forced 25 Inspired Gen. turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 36 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by Inspired Gen. 's players. The former international center Olivier Shyaka (197-1995) scored 17 points and 8 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and international point guard Antino Jackson (182-1996, college: N.Mexico) chipped in 13 points and 10 assists during the contest. Five Tigers players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was Samuel Asiribo with 13 points and 9 rebounds and Cameroonian forward Jean Mouandjo (200-2003) scored 9 points and 8 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Tigers have a solid three-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader. Newly promoted Inspired Gen. still closes the standings with five games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
