No shocking result in a game in Kigali where first rankedAPR (4-1) smashed 7th ranked Azomco (1-4) 98-49 on Sunday. APR held Azomco to an opponent 22.2 percent shooting from the field compared to 45.2 percent accuracy of the winners. APR looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. Nigerian center Israel Otobo (200-2004) had a double-double by scoring 11 points and 13 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and the former international forward Ntore Habimana (196-1997, college: Laurier) chipped in 11 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists during the contest. Four APR players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was Jarode Aworet (-2001) with a double-double by scoring 12 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists and Beninese-Turkish guard Marc Seylan-Agbo (193-1992, college: UMES) scored 7 points and 9 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. APR have a solid four-game winning streak. Despite that victory APR went down to second position due to points difference. Loser Azomco dropped to the eighth place with four games lost.
