Regular Season Round 4: Kepler - APR 44-54

Kepler (2-1) recorded its first loss in Kigali on Friday night. Hosts were defeated by third ranked APR (3-1) 54-44 . It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Kepler. APR forced 27 Kepler turnovers. The former international center Jane Dusabe (-2005) fired 18 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Violette Uwimpuhwe (165-2004) chipped in 13 points and 5 rebounds. DR Congolese center Aichata Traore (185-2005) produced 13 points and 9 rebounds and Nelly Akariza (-2007) added 7 points and 8 rebounds respectively for lost side. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. APR maintains third position with 3-1 record behind leader REG. Kepler at the other side dropped to the fourth place with one game lost.
