An interesting game was also tough home defeat ofUGB in a game in Kigali versus Kepler (#6) 65-57 . Strangely UGB outrebounded Kepler 54-42 including 21 on the offensive glass. It was an exceptional evening for Canadian guard Chad Bowie (188-1996, college: SHSU) who led the winners and scored 23 points and 6 assists. The former international power forward Elie Kaje (198-1995) accounted for 7 points and 19 rebounds for the winning side. South African Nkosinathi Sibanyoni (208-1998) came up with a double-double by scoring 16 points, 21 rebounds and 4 blocks and Ghanian James Amotoe (-1998) added 19 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for UGB in the defeat. UGB's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.
