The most exciting game was a derby match between two local teams from Kigali:Tigers (#5) and Azomco (#8). Tigers (10-6) crushed visiting Azomco (3-13) by 30 points 106-76 . Tigers dominated down low during the game scoring 68 of its points in the paint compared to Azomco 's 46. Tigers forced 20 Azomco turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. The best player for the winners was DR Congolese center Pitchou Kambuyi (208-1988) who had a double-double by scoring 17 points and 19 rebounds. The former international Pascal Niyonkuru (193-1995) chipped in 25 points and 5 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was Jarode Aworet (-2001) who recorded a double-double by scoring 19 points and 14 rebounds and Bryan Kalisa added 15 points and 8 rebounds respectively. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Tigers moved-up to third place, which they share with Patriots and UGB. Newly promoted Azomco keeps the eighth position with 13 games lost.
