Very expected game when 10th rankedUR BBC (1-13) was smashed by third ranked APR (13-2) in Kigali 107-68 on Sunday. APR forced 23 UR BBC turnovers and outrebounded them 54-35 including 18 on the offensive glass. APR looked well-organized offensively handing out 35 assists comparing to just 16 passes made by UR BBC 's players. Mali guard Kamba Diakite (172-1999) nailed 41 points (!!!) and 5 assists for the winning side and the former international center Charlotte Umugwaneza (195-1984) accounted for 21 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists. Hirwa Sandrine came up with 16 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists and Beatrice Bamurange added 11 points and 7 rebounds respectively for UR BBC in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. The victory was the eighth consecutive win for APR . They maintain third place with 13-2 record behind leader REG. UR BBC lost their sixth game in a row. They keep the tenth position with 13 games lost.
