Undefeated leaderREG delivered the thirteenth consecutive victory on Wednesday night. This time they crushed bottom-ranked UR Kigali (0-13) 129-35 . REG dominated down low during the game scoring 68 of its points in the paint compared to UR Kigali 's 20 and had 19 for 29 from the free-throw line, while UR Kigali only scored three points from the stripe. REG forced 53 UR Kigali turnovers and outrebounded them 60-32 including a 34-8 advantage in offensive rebounds. REG looked well-organized offensively handing out 43 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by UR Kigali 's players. Worth to mention a quality performance of the former international Sandrine Mushikiwabo (182-1995) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 33 points (!!!), 12 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals and guard Jordan Umuhoza (-1996) who added 16 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. The best for the losing side was forward Brigitte Wihogora with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 11 rebounds and Janviere Igiraneza scored 4 points and 6 rebounds. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. REG (13-0) have an impressive nine-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with a perfect record of 13 victories in a row. Loser UR Kigali still closes the standings with 13 games lost.
