Another exciting game was a derby match between two teams from Kigali:Azomco (#8) and UGB (#4). Azomco (2-7) won against visiting UGB (4-5) 71-59 . Azomco forced 19 UGB turnovers. American guard Damaria Franklin (190-1999, college: Memphis) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 30 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners and Richard Bizimungu chipped in 16 points and 14 rebounds. The best for the losing side was Burundian center Mohamed Doumbya (-1997) with a double-double by scoring 24 points, 16 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals and French-Central African power forward Steven-Emile Perriere (203-1995, college: LMU) scored 1 points, 14 rebounds and 6 assists. UGB's coach Yves Murenzi rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Newly promoted Azomco maintains eighth place with 2-7 record. UGB at the other side keeps the fourth position with five games lost. They share it with Tigers.
