Very predictable result when sixth rankedAzomco (4-4) rolled over at home bottom-ranked UR Kigali (0-9) 74-38 on Sunday. Azomco held UR Kigali to an opponent 20.4 percent shooting from the field compared to 32.9 percent accuracy of the winners. Azomco forced 39 UR Kigali turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists comparing to just 6 passes made by UR Kigali 's players. It was an exceptional evening for South Sudanese Nivin Lokuku (-2003) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds. Forward Fabiola Umunyuragaju accounted for 10 points and 9 rebounds for the winning side. Forward Angelique Uwimanimpaye came up with 6 points and 7 rebounds and Shadia Mugabekazi added 8 points and 7 rebounds respectively for UR Kigali in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. The victory was the third consecutive win for Azomco . Newly promoted Azomco maintains sixth place with 4-4 record. UR Kigali lost their ninth game in a row. They still close the standings with nine games lost.
