The game between closely ranked teams ended with third rankedPatriots ' (5-1) road victory over 4th ranked Kepler (3-4) in Kigali 84-67 on Sunday. American point guard Elliott Cole (180-1994, college: Charleston) notched 26 points, 6 rebounds and 9 assists to lead the effort and center Betoudji Kamndoh supported him with 10 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists. Even 16 points and 9 rebounds by forward Cyiza Twizeyimana did not help to save the game for Kepler . The former international point guard Olivier Turatsinze (185-2001) added 14 points and 4 assists. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Patriots have an impressive five-game winning streak. They maintain third position with 5-1 record having just three points less than leader APR. Loser Kepler dropped to the fifth place with four games lost. They share the position with Tigers.
