Regular Season Round 5: Orion - Azomco 87-84

Rather expected game when bottom-ranked Azomco (0-7) was edged by seventh ranked Orion (2-5) in Kigali 87-84 on Sunday. Kennedy Garba notched a double-double by scoring 32 points and 15 rebounds to lead the effort and American point guard Jeffery Stubbs (189-1991, college: Jackson St.) supported him with 18 points, 6 rebounds, 8 assists and 7 steals. Even 25 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists by Mosley Prentise did not help to save the game for Azomco. Byambo McBright added 19 points, 8 rebounds and 4 blocks. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Orion maintains seventh position with 2-5 record. Newly promoted Azomco still closes the standings with seven games lost.
