Very predictable result when top-rankedKepler (6-0) won against 7th ranked GSMRR (1-3) in Kigali 66-54 on Sunday. Kepler forced 25 GSMRR turnovers and outrebounded them 58-36 including a 28-5 advantage in offensive rebounds. Kepler looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The winners were led by Beninese center Veronica Keita (190-2001) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 19 points and 21 rebounds and center Deborah Ntawutarama (-2003) supported her with 11 points and 12 rebounds. Kepler's coach Rene Sahabu used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Even 23 points and 5 rebounds by Rachel Gikundiro (169-2006) did not help to save the game for GSMRR . Clementine Murekatete added 10 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals for lost side. Kepler have an impressive six-game winning streak. Newly promoted Kepler maintains first position with 6-0 record. GSMRR lost third consecutive game. They keep the seventh place with three games lost. They share the position with EA Univ and Azomco.
