No shocking result in a game when top-rankedAPR (4-0) crushed bottom-ranked UR BBC (0-5) in Kigali 112-36 on Saturday. APR held UR BBC to an opponent 23.1 percent shooting from the field compared to 56.8 percent accuracy of the winners. APR forced 21 UR BBC turnovers and outrebounded them 53-29 including a 42-23 advantage in defensive rebounds. APR looked well-organized offensively handing out 36 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by UR BBC 's players. The winners were led by international center Assouma Uwizeye (182-1996) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 25 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field) and the former international center Charlotte Umugwaneza (195-1984) supported her with 17 points and 20 rebounds. Four APR players scored in double figures. Even 8 points and 6 rebounds by Mignone Uwase did not help to save the game for UR BBC . Anifa Niyomukiza added 8 points for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. APR have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 4-0 record having 2 victories less than leader Kepler, which they share with RP-IPRC Huye. Loser UR BBC still closes the standings with five games lost.
