There was no surprise in Kigali whereAzomco was crushed by APR 103-67 on Friday. APR forced 29 Azomco turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 31 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by Azomco 's players. Mali forward Aliou Diarra (200-2001) had a double-double by scoring 16 points and 13 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and the former international Antino Jackson (182-1996, college: N.Mexico) chipped in 18 points and 8 assists during the contest. Four APR players scored in double figures. American guard Damaria Franklin (190-1999, college: Memphis) responded with 20 points and 4 assists and Blaise Mugisha (-2004) scored 11 points and 8 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
