Regular Season Round 2: Patriots - UGB 69-73

Patriots recorded a loss in Kigali on Friday night. Hosts were defeated by UGB 73-69. UGB forced 19 Patriots turnovers. The best player for the winners was French-Central African power forward Steven-Emile Perriere (203-1995, college: LMU) who had a double-double by scoring 17 points and 19 rebounds. Burundian center Mohamed Doumbya (-1997) chipped in a double-double by scoring 22 points and 14 rebounds. UGB's coach Yves Murenzi used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. International Steven Hagumintwari (198-1993) produced 23 points and center Betoudji Kamndoh added 15 points and 9 rebounds respectively for the hosts.
