No shocking result in a game when second rankedAlexandria (9-1) defeated on the road 12th ranked Somouha (3-7) 74-61 on Saturday. Alexandria dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Somouha 's 28. Alexandria forced 26 Somouha turnovers. It was a great evening for the former international forward Hagar Amer (184-1993) who led her team to a victory scoring 23 points and 9 rebounds. The former international guard Nouralla Abdelalim (184-1997) helped adding 9 points and 9 rebounds. The former international forward Mai Helwa (-1989) responded with 8 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists and the former international point guard Reem Awad (170-1993) scored 9 points. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The victory was the third consecutive win for Alexandria . Despite that victory Alexandria went down to third position due to points difference. Somouha lost their third game in a row. They keep the twelfth place with seven games lost.
