There was no surprise in Cairo where 14th rankedAviation (1-8) was defeated by ninth ranked Al Zohour (5-5) 63-58 on Sunday. However just five-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Saeed Mounir fired a double-double by scoring 13 points and 12 rebounds for the winners. Yousef Thabet chipped in 14 points and 6 assists. Four Al Zohour players scored in double figures. Al Zohour's coach used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. Abdallah Ibrahim produced a double-double by scoring 13 points and 10 rebounds and Yehya Saber added 9 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists respectively for lost side. The victory was the third consecutive win for Al Zohour . They moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Olympic. Aviation lost their seventh game in a row. Newly promoted team dropped to the fifteenth position with eight games lost.
