Very predictable result when fifth ranked Heliopolis (4-2) won against 13th ranked Aviation (1-5) in Cairo 71-66 on Sunday. Heliopolis looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Gasser Haytham nailed 20 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists for the winning side and Ayman Rasmy accounted for 16 points and 5 rebounds. Four Heliopolis players scored in double figures. Yehya Saber came up with 18 points and 6 assists and Amr Ossama added 15 points and 6 rebounds respectively for Aviation in the defeat. Heliopolis maintains fifth place with 4-2 record, which they share with Zamalek. Aviation lost their fourth game in a row. Newly promoted team keeps the thirteenth position with five games lost. They share it with Al Shams and Sporting.
