Not a big story in a game when 14th rankedKwanza (2-18) was outscored by ninth ranked ASA (8-11) in Luanda 112-80 on Friday. ASA dominated down low during the game scoring 72 of its points in the paint compared to Kwanza 's 30. ASA forced 19 Kwanza turnovers and outrebounded them 52-34 including a 34-21 advantage in defensive rebounds. ASA looked well-organized offensively handing out 32 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by Kwanza 's players. Carlos Sanda nailed 24 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists for the winning side and Elizeu Ventura accounted for 24 points and 8 rebounds. Point guard Danilson Jacinto came up with 16 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists and Chilli Barros added 14 points and 6 rebounds respectively for Kwanza in the defeat. Five Kwanza players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. ASA moved-up to eighth place. Kwanza lost their twelfth game in a row. They stay dead last with 18 lost games.
