Undefeated leaderP.Luanda delivered the eighth consecutive victory on Saturday night. This time they crushed 9th ranked ASA (2-5) 112-45 . P.Luanda dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to ASA 's 24. P.Luanda forced 28 ASA turnovers and outrebounded them 43-29 including 30 on the defensive glass. P.Luanda looked well-organized offensively handing out 33 assists comparing to just 7 passes made by ASA 's players. Worth to mention a quality performance of the former international point guard Eduardo Simao (187-2004) who helped to win the game recording 18 points, 8 rebounds, 6 assists and 5 steals and international forward Aboubacar Gakou (201-1997) who added 20 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals during the contest. Five P.Luanda players scored in double figures. Elizeu Ventura responded with 16 points and Ayrton Luis scored 11 points. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. P.Luanda (8-0) have an impressive eight-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with a perfect record of 8 victories in a row. Loser ASA keeps the ninth place with five games lost. They share the position with Interclube B and Vila Clotilde B.
