Not a big story in a game when 11th rankedTaradji Amel (8-15) lost to second ranked Chabab Sportif (16-7) in Tlemcen 64-69 on Tuesday. However just five-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. It was an exceptional evening for Chadian center Abakar Oumar (208-2002) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 12 rebounds. Yacine Benyahya accounted for 15 points and 9 rebounds for the winning side. Guard Nabil Nouari (182-2002) came up with 17 points and 5 rebounds and the former international guard Faycal Belkhodja (192-1988) added 11 points and 7 rebounds respectively for Taradji Amel in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Chabab Sportif have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain second place with 16-7 record having just two points less than leader Nadi Basket. Taradji Amel lost third consecutive game. They keep the eleventh position with 15 games lost.
