However their fans expected much easier game. 25 personal fouls committed by USM Alger helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The former international guard Anis Fedala (185-1990) orchestrated the victory by scoring 21 points and 6 assists. Mohamed Bensalah (200-2002, college: Paul Quinn) contributed with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Four Nadi Basket players scored in double figures. Nadi Basket's coach Mohamed Yahya used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Guard Ahmed Boutiba (188-1995) replied with 27 points and 6 rebounds and the former international swingman Laamouri Merahi (195-1995) added 17 points and 11 rebounds in the effort for USM Alger. Nadi Basket have a solid three-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 16-4 record. USM Alger at the other side keeps the seventh place with nine games lost. They share the position with USM Blida.
