Al Hurriyeh inks Corey Boyd, ex Matero Magic

Corey Boyd

Al Hurriyeh Aleppo (SBL) agreed terms with 27-year-old American center Corey Boyd (206cm-1998). He started the season at Matero Magic in Zambian D1 league. Last summer, he played at Flying Cows in the U.S. semi-pro league TBL where in 11 games he had 8.6ppg, 5.0rpg, and 1.5apg. He helped them win the regular season and reach the semifinals.
Boyd is a very experienced player. He has played in Canada (London Lightning, Titans, and Toundra), Lithuania (Delikatesas), JBA (Atlanta), and TBL (Enid Outlaws, Kokomo Bobkats, Medora T., and St. Louis Griffins).
Among many awards, he was voted to USBasket.com All-BSL League Honorable Mention in 2025.
Boyd is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered the top international summer league on the market.
