US Monastir tabs Unique McLean, ex Tadamon

Unique McLean

U.S. Monastir (ProA) signed 28-year-old American 188cm guard Unique McLean (college: SFC, agency: Blacktop Management) for the upcoming season. He last played at Tadamon in Lebanese DLBL. During the last season, he played at Al-Difaa Aljawie in Iraqi Superleague where he averaged 12.0ppg, 3.3rpg, 2.6apg, and 1.3spg in 12 games.
He is a very experienced player. McLean has quite traveled the world as his pro career brought him to seven different countries on three different continents (Europe, Asia and of course North America). He has played professionally in Bahrain (Al-Ahli), Finland, Iraq (Al Shurtah), Luxembourg (Sparta), Saudi Arabia (Deba) and Switzerland (Starwings).
McLean was voted to Asia-Basket.com All-Saudi Arabian SBL Honorable Mention in 2023. Among many awards, his college team made it to the Iraqi League Cup final in 2024.
He graduated from St. Francis College (NY) in 2021 and it will be his fifth season in pro basketball. McLean played also for University of Massachusetts for 3 years.
