An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Monastir. First ranked US Monastir faced 4th placed ES Sahel. Host US Monastir (15-2) defeated guests from Sousse (11-6) 81-69. US Monastir have an impressive series of nine victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place with 15-2 record, which they share with JS Kairouan. ES Sahel at the other side keeps the fourth position with six games lost. US Monastir is looking forward to face league's second-placed JS Kairouan on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. ES Sahel will play against Mahdia and is hoping to prove to their supporters that the loss was just an accident.
The game in Goulette was also worth to mention about. Second ranked JS Kairouan (15-2) played at the court of 6th ranked ESG (6-11). JS Kairouan did not have too big problems and got a relatively easy victory 75-57. The victory was the eighth consecutive win for JS Kairouan. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with US Monastir. ESG at the other side dropped to the seventh place with 11 games lost. JS Kairouan will play against league's leader US Monastir at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. ESG will play against JS Manazeh (#8) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

In the last two games of round 17 bottom-ranked ES Rades were defeated by Mahdia in a road game 70-64. DSG was beaten by US Ansar at home 55-70.



Mahdia - ES Rades 70-64

The game between closely ranked teams ended with 10th ranked ES Rades' (1-16) road loss to ninth ranked Mahdia (3-14) 64-70. Newly promoted Mahdia maintains ninth place with 3-14 record. ES Rades lost their ninth game in a row. They stay at the bottom position with 16 games lost. Mahdia will play against higher ranked ES Sahel (#4) in Sousse in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. ES Rades will play against DSG (#5) to get more than just one victory in their record.

DSG - US Ansar 55-70

There was a small surprise when seventh ranked US Ansar (7-10) defeated on the road 5th ranked DSG (8-9) 70-55. US Ansar moved-up to sixth place. DSG at the other side keeps the fifth position with nine games lost. US Ansar will play against higher ranked Club Africain (#3) in Tunis in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. DSG will play on the road against ES Rades and hopes to get back on the winning track.
