Defending champion U.S. Monastir (ProA) agreed terms with 28-year old American forward Shakur Juiston (201cm-100kg-1996, college: Oregon). Juiston already started the season at H.Galil Elion in Israeli Winner League. In 7 games he had 4.0ppg, 3.7rpg and 1.0apg.
He is quite experienced player. His career allowed him to visit three different continents, while he played in seven different countries. Juiston tasted the life as pro basketball player in Europe, Asia and of course North America. He has played previously professionally in Germany (EWE Baskets), Greece (Aris Midea and Maroussi), Kazakhstan (Astana), NBA G League (Memphis Hustle), Big3 (3Juistonaded Monsters), NBA Summer League (Orlando Magic) and The Basketball Tournament (Always Us and Vegas Rebellion). He played in the final of NJCAA D1 District VI in 2016 and 2017.
Juiston graduated from University of Oregon in 2020 and it is his fifth season as a professional player. He played for other colleges like: University of Nevada - Las Vegas, Hutchinson Community College.
