Detrek Browning (ex Zastal) is a second import added to the roster of JS Kairouan

Detrek Browning

J.S.Kairouan (ProA) strengthened their roster with addition of 29-year old American 185cm point guard Detrek Browning (college: FMU). Browning is the second import player in the roster as Croatian Antun Maricevic signed here earlier.
He already started the season at Zastal in Polish OBL league, but left the team in Nov.'24. In three games he recorded 10.3ppg, 1.0rpg and 4.7apg. The last season he played at Kutaisi 2010 in Georgian Superleague where in 32 games he averaged impressive 17.3ppg, 3.0rpg, 4.3apg and 1.3spg. He helped them to win the league title. Great season indeed as he was awarded Eurobasket.com All-Georgian League Finals MVP and voted to All-Imports Team.
He is a very experienced player. Thanks to Browning's pro career he managed to play on three different continents (Europe, Latin America and of course North America) in five different countries. Browning has played previously professionally in Iceland (Sindri), Ireland (Killorglin), Lithuania, Portugal (Queluz) and Bolivia (CAN Oruro).
He received All-PeachBelt Player of the Year award back in 2018.
Browning graduated from Francis Marion University in 2018 and it is his seventh season in pro basketball.
