Yacine Toumi transfers to Seton Hall

Yacine Toumi

Seton Hall University added 23-year-old Tunisian-French international forward Yacine Toumi (6'10''-209lbs) to their roster for the new 2024-25 season. He is the second foreign player on the team, with Nigerian Emmanuel Okorafor having signed earlier. Toumi, a native of Meudon, France, played at the University of Evansville for the last two years. Last season, he averaged 10.7ppg, 6.4rpg, and 1.5apg in 32 games. His team reached the CBI Championship Quarterfinals in 2024.
He originally declared for NBA Draft Early Entry List, but eventually withdrew deciding to continue college career
He played at University of Arkansas at Little Rock between 2020-21 and then at Indian Hills Community College during 2021-22. His team won ICCAC D1 Co-Championship, NJCAA D1 North Central District Championship and NJCAA D1 Region XXI Championship in 2022. Toumi helped his team make it to the NJCAA Division I Sweet 16 that year.
He spent his prep year at Lee Academy Prep (Lee, ME) between 2019-20, which he joined from Impact Basketball Academy.
Toumi has been a member of the Tunisian international program for some years. He has regularly played for the Tunisian senior team since 2022 and previously for the Under 20 National Team in 2017.
Toumi also represented Tunisia at the CBI Championship Quarterfinals this year.
