Monastir escaped with a narrow win over Petro de Luanda at the 2024 BAL Playoffs. The Tunisian powerhouse posted a thrilling 70-67 win. Both teams exchanged the wins in the first half, whilst Petro de Luanda led 2 points at the end of the third quarter. Monastir meanwhile used a 10-0 run changed the course of the game. Firas Lahiani (201-F-1991) nailed a three-point buzzer beater ti seal the win with his team. He top-scored for the winners with 19 points and George A. Williams II (198-G-1990, college: Wayland Baptist) notched 17. Nick Faust (197-SG, college: LBSU, agency: BMS Sport Agency) replied with 12 points in the losing effort.
