Tunisia's basketball team lost to Lebanon's Al Riyadi Club Beirut (70-86) on Friday at a day-1 game of the 33rd Dubai International Basketball Championship, held from January 19 to 28 The national team, featuring group A, will take on Lebanon's Al Hikma Beirut on Saturday at 6.15pm, before facing Al-Ahly Benghazi of Libya on Monday (2.30pm), followed by Emirati AL Nasr Club on Tuesday (10.15am) and AS Salé of Morocco on Wednesday (12.15pm).
Group B involves the United Arab Emirates national team, Beirut Club and Homenetmen Beirut from Lebanon, Strong Group Athletics from the Philippines, Al Ahli SC Tripoli from Libya, and Al Wahda from Syria. Top four finishers in each group will qualify for the quarterfinals.
