Libya - Tunisia 70-64

Libya became the Arab Basketball Championship first finalists. They toppled Tunisia to enter the title game. Gayth Mohammed (206-F/C-1999) scored 18 points to pace the winners.
Libya held their opponents to just 6 points in the first period to take a 6-point lead. They extended the lead in the second frame. Libya ensured a 33-20 halftime advantage. Tunisia answered with a 25-point outburst in the third period to pull within 4 points at the final break. But Libya sank 21 points in the final term and got away with a tough win at the end. Mohamed Buzgaiya (195-SG-1999) contributed 16 points for the winners. Ziyed Chennoufi (201-F-1988) answered with 17 points for Tunisia.
