Arab Basketball Championship: Tunisia beat Kuwait in the opener

Tunisia overcame Kuwait in the opener of the Arab Basketball Championship. They dominated the majority of the game to seal an 85-69 win. Trailing 15-21 at the end of the first quarter, Tunisia took control in the rest of the game to win the first game. Omar Abada (189-PG-1993) tossed in recorded 12 points, 9 assists and 6 rebounds for the winning side.
Tunisia were drawn in group B which also includes Egypt, the UAE, Morocco and Kuwait. Group A is made up of Libya, Mauritania, Algeria and Somalia.
