US Monastir tabs Achref Gannouni

The defending champion U.S. Monastir (ProA) has signed Achref Gannouni, a 26-year-old international shooting guard who stands at 194cm. Gannouni has been playing for ES Rades for the past ten years.

He's also been a member of the Tunisian international program for several years. He's played consistently for the Tunisian senior team since 2019 and previously for the U18 National Team in 2014.

Eight years ago, he represented Tunisia at the World Championships U19 in Heraklion, Greece. During that event, his stats were as follows: 7 games played, averaging 12.6 points per game, 1.9 rpg, 1.9 apg, and 2.0 spg. His shooting percentages were 43.1% from the field (FGP), 21.1% from three-point range (3PT), and 60.6% from the free-throw line (FT). In 2022, his team made it to the League Semifinals.
