ProA Round 7 (Second Stage): Club Africain lose to ES Rades

There was a change at the ProA leadership position after last games. Round 7 most important game was a defeat of league's leader Club Africain (5-2). They were edged by fourth ranked ES Rades (3-4) 73-72 on Tuesday night. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Club Africain. ES Rades moved-up to third place, which they share with Ezzahra. Club Africain at the other side dropped to the second position with two games lost. They were replaced at the leadership position by Stade Nabeulien.
The game had a very big importance for second-ranked US Monastir as it allowed them to take a leadership position. US Monastir defeated 5th ranked ES Sahel at home 79-62. US Monastir have a solid series of three victories in a row. As mentioned above they took over a top position. Newly promoted ES Sahel keeps the fifth place with five games lost. They share the position with DSG.
A very close game took place in between DSG and Ezzahra. Sixth ranked DSG (2-5) got a very close home victory over 3rd placed Ezzahra (3-4). DSG managed to escape with a 1-point win 55-54 on Tuesday evening. DSG moved-up to fifth place, which they share with ES Sahel. Loser Ezzahra keeps the third position with four games lost. They share it with ES Rades.



US Monastir - ES Sahel 79-62

The game had a very big importance for second-ranked US Monastir as it allowed them to take a leadership position. US Monastir defeated 5th ranked ES Sahel at home 79-62.
