Jerome Randle added to the roster of US Monastir- February 11, 2023
He played last summer at Team Challenge ALS (The Basketball Tournament) in the U.S. He managed to play in four leagues in four countries last year (!!!). In two TBT games he recorded very impressive stats: 17.5ppg, 2.5rpg, 4.5apg and 1.5spg. The last season he played at Metropolitans in French Betclic ELITE ProA where in four games he averaged 4.3ppg and 3.0apg. He also played for Mahram in Iranian Superleague. In 6 games he had also remarkable stats: 22.2ppg, 1.7rpg, 5.2apg and 1.0spg. The other team he played that season for was Budivelnyk in Ukrainian Superleague. In 16 games he got high stats: 16.9ppg, 1.8rpg and 5.1apg. Good season as he was voted League Player of the Week. Randle has tried to make it to the NBA and played in the NBA Pro Summer League in 2015. He also represented Ukraine at the European Championships (FIBA EuroBasket) eight years ago. His stats at that event were 5 games: 13.2ppg, 2.0rpg, 4.4apg, FGP: 55.6%, 3PT: 23.1%, FT: 70.0%. Randle is a very experienced player. Thanks to Randle's pro career he managed to play on four different continents (Europe, Asia, Australia and of course North America) in twelve different countries. He has played previously professionally in Australia (Adelaide 36ers and Kings), Belgium, China, Israel, Lithuania (Zalgiris), Russia (Lokomotiv), Spain (Real Betis and Fuenlabrada), Turkey (Trabzonspor, Aliaga, Eskisehir Basket and Acibadem), Ukraine (Mariupol), Germany (Oettinger Rockets Gotha), NBA G League (Maine Celtics and Delaware Blue Coats) and The Basketball Tournament (Always a Brave and Eberlein Drive). His team won Australian NBL Regular Season in 2017 and 2020. Randle was selected to Australiabasket.com Australian NBL All-Imports Team back in 2016 and 2017. It may be one of last seasons in his extensive career, which he may end at US Monastir. He graduated from University of California in 2010 and it will be his 13th (hopefully lucky) (!!!) season in pro basketball. The scouts decsribe him following way: A PG with great athletic skills, who can easily play at the upper level despite size. Has great court vision, can serve a teammate in a surprising way, simply because he's sometimes umpredictable. Can score and defend, doesn' t fear any opponent or situation. Great leadership and sparkling style of play seem to grant him a long career.
