Darko Balaban

Etoile-Sportive-Rades (ProA) signed 33-year old Serbian center Darko Balaban (211cm-1989). Balaban started the season at OKK Beograd in Serbian KLS league. In 15 games he had 11.3ppg, 5.7rpg and 1.7apg.
He was a member of Serbian University National Team back in 2013.
Balaban is quite experienced player. He has played in ten different countries on three different continents (Europe, Asia and Africa). Balaban has played previously professionally in Bulgaria (Balkan), Greece (PAOK Thessaloniki), Hungary (Szedeak), Iran (Kouchin), Romania (Dinamo Stiinta Bucuresti and Targu Jiu), Spain (Ourense and Melilla), Ukraine (Cherkasy), Serbia (Partizan, BKK Radnicki, Crvena Zvezda, KK Borac Cacak and Smederevo), North Macedonia (Feni Industries) and Tunisia (Club Africain).
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others his team made it to the Bulgarian League Semifinals in 2021. He was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Bulgarian League Honorable Mention in 2021.
