Josh Ihek (ex Sanjoanense) signs at JS Kairouan

J.S.Kairouan (ProA) landed 24-year-old American 206cm center Josh Ihek (college: Northeastern State) for the new season. Ihek played most recently at Sanjoanense in the Portuguese Proliga. In 11 Proliga games, he averaged 10.4ppg, 10.9rpg, 1.0apg, and 2.3bpg last season.

In the previous (2020-21) season he played at Sloboda in Bosnia and Herzegovina Division I. But in 10 games he had just 1.2ppg and 1.2rpg in that year.

He was voted to MIAA All-Defensive Team in 2020.

Ihek graduated from Northeastern State in 2020 and it will be his third season in pro basketball.
