US Monastir adds Tsintsadze to their roster

George Tsintsadze

Defending champion U.S. Monastir (ProA) added to their roster experienced 36-year old Emirati point guard George Tsintsadze (192cm-90kg-1986) for season 2022-23. Tsintsadze is the second import player in the roster as German Ziyed Chennoufi signed here earlier.
He played last season at Tbilisi State University in Georgian Superleague.
He won Estonian League championship title in 2007 and 2008. He was voted to Eurobasket.com Estonian League All-Imports Team back in 2007, 2008 and 2009.
The previous (2020-21) season he played at Baniyas (D1) in UAE league.
Tsintsadze represented United Arab Emirates at the European Championships (FIBA EuroBasket) five years ago. His stats at that event were 5 games: 2.8ppg, 1.6rpg, 3.0apg, 1.2spg.
He is quite experienced player. Tsintsadze has played also professionally in Estonia (Tartu), France (Gravelines Dunkerque and SPO Rouen), Greece (Trikala), Italy, Lebanon (Champville), Poland (Trefl), Qatar (Al Shamal), Romania (Iasi), Russia, Ukraine (Budivelnyk and BC Donetsk) and North Macedonia (MZT Skopje).
It's very possible he may end his playing career at US Monastir.
