Mourad El Mabrouk

Club Africain Tunis (ProA) added to their roster experienced 35-year-old Tunisian international shooting guard Mourad El Mabrouk (194cm-84kg-1986) for the new 2022-2023 season. It is his comeback to CAT as he has played here before. El Mabrouk played last season at Al Jalaa in the Syrian SBL league. He also played for ES Rades that season.

El Mabrouk has been also a member of the Tunisian international program for some years. He has regularly played for the Tunisian senior team since 2006 and previously for U18 National Team in 2004.

El Mabrouk represented Tunisia at the Afrobasket Championship five years ago. His team won Gold and his stats at that event were 6 games: 9.3ppg, 2.0rpg, 3.8apg, FGP: 36.8%, 3PT: 33.3%, FT: 85.7%.

He has played previously professionally in France (Nantes) and Tunisia (US Monastir and Ezzahra).

On El Mabrouk: A big-bodied SG who can be a true threat from outside, given his great three-point shooting accuracy.
