We bring you last week's top performances from Tunisians who are playing abroad and who all have had prior experience of national team duties at youth or senior level.
#1. This week's number one is an experienced former international guard
Michael Roll (198-1987, agency:
Octagon Europe, college:
UCLA, currently plays in Turkey). He could not help
Pinar Karsiyaka (14-8) in their last game. Despite Roll's good performance Pinar Karsiyaka lost
71-77 on the road to the lower-ranked (#9) Besiktas.
He was the second best scorer with 12 points in 31 minutes on the court.
Roll has relatively good stats this year: 13.0ppg, 1.3rpg, 4.0apg, 2FGP: 58.1%(25-43), 3FGP: 47.5%(19-40) in nine games he played so far.
He is a naturalized American.
Roll played for the Tunisian senior national team year ago.
Strangely he has never played in Tunisia.
#2. Second place goes to former international swingman
Islem Elajmi (196-1991, currently plays in Saudi Arabia). Elajmi led
Ohod to a victory over the tenth-ranked Duba Club (4-18) crushing them
103-64 in the Saudi Arabian SBL last Friday.
He was MVP of the game. Elajmi recorded a triple-double by scoring 23 points, grabbing 15 rebounds and passing 10 assists.
Ohod Medina (16-6) is placed fourth in the SBL.
The Regular Season already ended.
Elajmi has individually a very good season with high stats. He averages: 19.0ppg, 8.5rpg, 6.5apg, 2FGP: 62.5%(10-16), 3FGP: 35.7%.
Elajmi played for the Tunisian national team in 22.
#3. The Tunisian player who performed third best last week abroad was former international point guard
Omar Abada (189-1993, currently plays in Saudi Arabia). He was not able to help
Al Ittihad (17-5) in their last game. Despite Abada's very good performance Al Ittihad was badly defeated
99-82 at home by the leading Al Hilal.
He was the top scorer with 31 points. Abada also added 8 rebounds and dished 5 assists in 40 minutes.
The Regular Season already ended.
Abada has very impressive stats this year: 23.8ppg, 4.8rpg, 7.0apg, 2.0spg, 2FGP: 54.3%, 3FGP: 33.6% and FT: 78.6% in 22 games.
He played for the Tunisian national team year ago.
#4. Power forward
Makram Ben Romdhane (205-1989, currently plays in Portugal) contributed to
Benfica's victory against one of league's weakest teams Illiabum (4-17)
77-70 in the Portuguese LPB in Saturday night's game.
Ben Romdhane scored 7 points, had 10 rebounds and dished 3 assists.
Sport Lisboa Benfica (21-0) is placed first in the LPB.
So far his team won all twenty one games in the Regular Season.
There are only two games left until the end of the Regular Season. So now every game will be critical.
This season Ben Romdhane has relatively solid stats: 11.4ppg, 8.5rpg, 3.7apg and 1.9spg.

back in 22.
#5. Former international power forward
Mohamed Hadidane (207-1986, currently plays in Saudi Arabia) was not able to secure a victory for
Al Hilal (20-2) in their last game. Despite Hadidane's very good performance the league leader Al Hilal lost
73-78 in a derby game to the second-ranked Al Nasr.
He recorded 15 points and grabbed 9 rebounds in 33 minutes.
They ended the series of eight consecutive victories.
The Regular Season already ended.
Hadidane has reliable stats this year: 12.0ppg, 9.5rpg and 1.5spg in two games.
He used to play for the Tunisian national team
years ago.
#6. Forward
Joackim Haddad (196-1999, currently plays in France) managed to help Etoile Angers Basket to win against the third-ranked Lyon (11-4) crushing them
85-53 in the French NM1 (third division) on Tuesday night.
Haddad scored only 2 points and had 4 steals.
It was the game of the round between two top 3 ranked teams. Etoile Angers Basket (9-2) is placed first in Group A.
It was his team's 12th consecutive victory in a row.
Haddad's overall stats this season are: 3.7ppg, 1.7rpg, 1.6apg and 1.1spg.
He is a former international player as he played for the Tunisian senior team year ago.
One more player who has never been selected to any of national teams, but has Tunisian passport: #1. Jabeur Makhlouf contributed to an easy victory against the eighth-ranked Atlas (4-11) crushing them
96-59 in the Lebanese LBL in Saturday night's game.
Makhlouf recorded 8 points in only 6 minutes.
Dynamo Lebanon (12-4) is placed fourth in the LBL.
The Regular Season already ended.
This year Makhlouf's overall stats are: 3.5ppg and 1.3rpg in six games he played so far.
